AboutBrian W. Hanks, DC started his journey in the health field after being a Chiropractic patient. After his involvement in an automobile accident, he was recommended to Chiropractic and Massage care. This encouraged him to attend Massage school. Upon completion of Massage Therapy Certification, Dr. Hanks attended North Hennepin Community College and graduated with both a Bachelor of Science and a Doctorate from Northwestern Health Science University in Bloomington, Minnesota.
Dr. Hanks has great passion in Functional Neurology. While in Chiropractic school he undertook to study functional neurology with the Carrick Institute, the world’s preeminent college of functional neurology. This has opened a door to treat more complicated cases like autism, aspergers, vertigo, and the like. He also utilizes a variety of techniques ranging from Visceral Manipulation, CranioSacral, Strain Counter-strain, Acupressure, Mechanical Link, and Lymphatic Drainage. He is certified in NMT and Orthopedic Massage, and uses Diversified & Activator Methods.
His future endeavors include the following:
- Diplomate in Neurology
- Child Development Disorders
- Clinical Neurochemistry/Nutrition & Vestibular Rehabilitation.
Dr. Hanks believes that his brain has only gotten stronger since being in Chiropractic school. His learning goes above head knowledge as he diligently applies his own advice to his life and it has served him well.
Dr. Hanks will forever be learning because he feels that his patients deserve nothing less.
In his spare time he enjoys martial arts, studying complex neurology texts, and spending time with his wife.
